Lamps

In the Shop you find an extensive collection of lamps with different shapes, structures, colors and materials. Single, double or more; hanging or standing lamps; white, black, transparent or wood, you name it.
Do you have an idea for a lamp or a design? Get in touch through Contact. I also make custom made lamps, especially for you.

Sustainability

Sustainability of the design and the production process is the starting point for me.

The printing material I use for my lamps is PLA-filament. PLA, poly lactic acid, is a natural plastic made out of transformed starch from plants. I also print in wood, bamboo or cellulose. The material used gives the lamp its own character and long life.

A Kindas3d lamp is a lamp for life.

3D design

Nature inspires me. All around me I see patterns and structures, repetitions and special forms. I process these, sometimes even unconsciously, in my designs.

I start the design with a shape, then I get started with the structure by fracturing, cutting, pasting, turning and repeating. When the proportions are completely in balance, the design is ready to be printed. With the result I vary in finishing, composition and size.
Then the lamp is yours!

Kindas

I am Kindas, a 3D designer specialized in lamps.

I have a background in music and video. When I got to know the ins and outs of 3D I discovered a whole new world. I love creating and innovating and 3D offers me endless options.

My style? It has to do with chaos and order. Wherever I look, I search for the structure in things. I am fascinated by visual mathematics models, like the Mandelbrot set and the Fibonacci sequence. I learned to look differently at the things surrounding me, details and structures in nature. I see those models in everything. Also for instance African art, just look at the masks and decorations. I apply these sets and sequences in my design process. You can experience my work as both familiar and surprising at once.
